6 Installation
The unit is attached vertically to the wall.
When installing the unit leave at least 1.3 m of clearance above the unit
to facilitate emitter replacement.
● Attach the switching box (3) to the wall.
●
Earth the switching box using the earthing cable supplied
(welded setscrew at the top of the unit).
● Unscrew both setscrews (7) and remove the blue
protective cap (11)
● Unscrew the tensioning screw (8).
● Push the o-ring (6) from the bag of accessories approx. 40 mm
over the top of the quartz glass tube (5).
● Insert the quartz glass tube (5) (follow the lower guide in
the radiation chamber).
● Tighten the tensioning screw (8) hand-tight (with a small gap
between the setscrew and the cover of the UV unit).
● Insert the emitter (9) carefully and connect with the plug (10)
of the blue protective cap (11). Ensure that the plug is inserted
properly.
● Attach the blue protective cap (11) and secure it with both setscrews
(7).

UV emitters may only be started in the unit
when the blue protective cap (11) is mounted

Never look through sensor window with unpro-
tected eyes.
►
Use your personal protective equipment - safe-
ty goggles.
7 Startup

Open the water supply line.

See UV-Control II installation and operating instructions for the re-
maining startup procedure.
