INSTALLING THE TUNE – GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

continue to the appropriate section to find these preparation steps.
1. Turn the key to the “on” (or “run”) position.
DO NOT START THE ENGINE.
2. Go to the Main Menu (top left button).
3. Choose Install Download.
4. Follow the instructions on the GT screen.
5. You will be prompted to turn your key to the
“off” or “on” position and then press Continue.
6. Do NOT start the engine when turning the
key to the “run” (or “on”) position at any time
during the download. You may be prompted
to make choices about vehicle-specific
settings such as the speed limiter.
7. The GT Gas will indicate when it is finished
and then reboot to the Main Gauge Display
8. After installation, replace any fuses that you
may have removed.

DO NOT START THE ENGINE.
IMPORTANT NOTE: There are certain times when
disconnecting or interrupting power to the GT
Gas can interfere with the engine computer
programming process. If the engine write is
interrupted, the programming on your engine
computer can be corrupted. This can cause your
vehicle not to start and possibly even require the
ECM to be replaced. The illustration is an example
of one of the times during the installation when it
is vital that the power is not disturbed.
