Cabling SAS Devices

The SAS Cable

Your system comes equipped with one of the following SAS cables, depending on the
hard disk drives controller you have selected.

Refer to the instructions included in the 

Installing Hard Disk Drives

 or 

Hard Disk

Drives Cage

 chapters (depending on your configuration) for more information on the

motherboard to backplane connection.

Connect one end of the cable to the motherboard SAS connector, 

and the other end to the hard disk drives cage backplane.
