Configuration by Onboard RAID Controller 
(3.5-inch Disk Model)

This section describes how to use the internal hard disk drives as RAID System by
Onboard RAID Controller (LSI Embedded MegaRAID) of 3.5-inch disk model.

Installing the Hard Disk Drives

Install two or more SAS hard disk drives to your server. 

See “Installing and Removing

a Hard Disk Drive” on page 161.

 

Caution

Use two hard disk drives of the same revolution. 
Also use two hard disk drives of the same capacity if you are
going to configure the array in RAID1.
