Display Settings
This opens the settings for the LCD panel of the TeraStation.
The available settings are shown below.
Note:
This software cannot be accessed by multiple users at the same time. Before launching it, make sure that it is not
being used by another user.
Show
The LCD panel can be configured to display any or
all of the following items:
IP Address 1
,
Drive Usage
,
Date & Time
, and
IP Address 2
.
Scroll Display
The LCD display can be set to automatically switch
between selected items at fixed intervals.
LCD Brightness
The brightness of the LCD panel backlight can be
adjusted to one of five levels.
Night Mode
If checked, the LCD brightness will be set at level 2
(dark) from 6 pm to 8:59 am the next day.
Note:
If the LCD brightness is already set to level 1
(darkest) or level 2 (dark), night mode will be grayed
out and cannot be selected.
Remote Desktop
Backup & Replication
These settings allow you to configure data backup and replication on the
TeraStation. See the "Back Up from the TeraStation" and "Replication" section in
chapter 5 for more details.
Note:
