Chapter 4 Connecting Wireless Clients
Switching between Client Mode and Router Mode
Use the procedure below to switch between Client Mode and Router Mode.

Right-click the Software Router icon ( or ) in the task tray to display the pop-up menu.
Click [Stop Software Router] or [Start Software Router].
Note : • In Windows 7, if the icon does not appear in the task tray, click so that it appears.
• If [Auto Router Mode] item is selected, Router Mode is used when the computer has a connection to the
Internet, and Client Mode is used when there is no Internet connection.
