Resetting the service interval
A time-dependent service interval (subject to hours run or reaching a specific
date) can be selected for boilers with digital burner control unit SAFe, using the
programming unit (e.g. RC30 or RC35).
After the service interval has expired, the display shows "H 3" or "H 8") (see do-
cumentation "Service guideline for boilers with digital burner control unit SAFe").
After carrying out the service, reset the service interval as follows:
Press the "Reset key" until "HrE" is shown on the status display.
The service interval is reset and restarts with the set number of hours. With set-
ting "Maintenance acc to date", the next maintenance message will be displayed
precisely one year later.
Maintenance before expiry of the service interval
Press the "status display" key several times, until "HAH" (maintenance interval
active) appears in the display.
Press the "Reset" key until "HrE" is shown on the status display. This resets the
maintenance interval, which starts from the beginning again.
No maintenance interval is activated (i.e. resetting is not possible), if "HAH" does
not appear even after pressing the key several times.

Burner functions
9.7.1 Resetting all interlocks
You can reset a fault by pressing the "Reset" button, if the burner control unit is
in a fault state. This is only required for locking faults. Blocking faults are reset
automatically when the cause is removed.
Press the "Reset" button to reset faults.
The display shows "rE" whilst the reset is being implemented. The reset is only
possible, if there is no active fault.
