2.3 ALARM SIGNALS
BURGLAR this signal has priority over the call signals from IU. Without programming
anything the porter Switchboard signals, associating them with an indication
of the IU from which they come, the following alarms of the burglar alarm
system installed in the apartment:
- BURGLAR ALARM
- 24 HOUR ALARM FROM CENTRAL UNIT
- SIREN SOUNDING ALARM
- BATTERY FLAT
- POWER CUT
Each of these signals can be deactivated individually or others enabled
(
see sect. 3.3.1
).
When the Exchange receives a burglar alarm (
depending on the call mode
) the following
message is displayed:
The alarm can be
silenced
with the
ok
button.
The alarm (
acquisition)
can be
cancelled
with the
can
button and confirming with
ok
.
2.3.2 Signals from COMMON PARTS
There are 15 alarm types and 15 indications of origin for the common parts.
A description which helps the operator to identify the situation which has generated the
signal can be associated with each alarm and origin.
The NAME which identifies the alarm and its ORIGIN (
device SCS address
) must be
programmed (
see sect. 3.3.2
) for each auxiliary channel to be dedicated to this function.
When the Exchange receives an alarm from common parts, the following message is
displayed:
