3.1 Base Communications setting

The HRB base has to be linked to an approved high end indicator. It uses one of the
dedicated RS232 channels to correctly communicate to the base.

Use one of the dedicated RS232 base to indicator cables as listed below

AWT25-501983

RS232 Base to indicator cable (keyed RJ45 to striped end) 10ft

AWT25-502071

RS232 Base to indicator cable (keyed RJ45 to striped end) 25ft

AWT25-502072

RS232 Base to indicator cable (keyed RJ45 to striped end) 50ft

These cables have the correct keyed RJ45 connector. Pictured below are the cable
ends ready for connection to the HRB and indicator.

3.2 Base configuration

All base configuration will be found within the indicator, please refer to the indicator
service manual or HRB to indicator tech guides for base setup and calibration.
