If no messages are
stored on the answering
machine, you will hear
“You have no messages”
.
Once a message has
been played back, the
machine will announce,
for example,
“Tuesday,
four fifty, pm.”
Fast play
During playback, if you
press
and hold
or
play will continue, but
at 1.5x the normal speed.
To continue playback at
normal speed, release
either button.

Using the answering machine
Listening to your
messages via the base
When you have messages recorded on
your answering machine, the Messages
indicator will flash.
Play all messages
1. Press
and hold
. The total number
of messages is announced. All messages
are then played back via the loudspeaker,
with the oldest message played back first.
Play new messages only
1. Press
and release
until you hear
“You have ‘n’ new messages.”
Your new
messages will be played.
During playback:
Pause/resume playback.
Once
repeats the current message,
twice
plays the previous message.
Once
plays the next message,
twice
plays the message after that.
Deletes the current message and you
hear
“Message deleted”
.
Stops playback, machine goes back
to Answer On.

or lift the handset.
