WEEKLY MAINTENANCE
7) Grease engagement arm pivot:
Grease engagement arm pivot with to shots of
EP-2 Lithium type grease. Wipe off excessive grease.
Excessive grease will attract dirt.
8) Grease control box safety bar pivots on Model
2100SP:
Grease control box safety bar pivots with 1 to 2 shots of
EP-2 Lithium type grease. Wipe off excessive grease.
Excessive grease will attract dirt.
9) Check set screws in bearings:
Check set screws in cutter wheel bearings for
tightness.
10) Check and retighten tank mount bolts:
Check the fuel tank and hydraulic tank mount bolts
and retighten.
11) Check alternator and fan belts on engine
(as applicable):
Adjust and maintain per the engine manufacturer’s
manual.
) Check wheel lug nuts:
Keep lug nuts tight, retorque, replace if needed.
1) Grease swing pivot bearings:
Grease the top and bottom swing pivot bearing with
1 shot of EP-2 Lithium type grease. Wipe off excess
grease.
Excessive grease will attract dirt.
2) Grease steering axle pivot bushing:
Grease steering axle pivot bushing with 1 to 2 shots of
EP-2 Lithium type grease. Wipe off excessive grease.
Excessive grease will attract dirt.
3) Grease steering bushings (Start 2/06):
On Model 2100SP, grease steering bushings with 1 to 2
shots of EP-2 Lithium type grease. Wipe off excessive
grease.
Excessive grease will attract dirt.
4) Grease steering spindle bearings (Pre 2/06):
On Model 2100SP, grease steering spindle bearings
with to shots of EP- Lithium type grease. Wipe
off excessive grease.
Excessive grease will attract
dirt.
5) Grease steering bearings (if equipped):
Grease steering bearings with to shots of EP-
Lithium type grease on the Model 2000XP and the
2100SP with the tight turn option. Wipe off excessive
grease.
Excessive grease will attract dirt.
6) Grease cylinder lug pin bushings:
Grease cylinder lug pin bushings with to shots of
EP-2 Lithium type grease. Wipe off excessive grease.
Excessive grease will attract dirt.
MAINTENANCE SECTION
1) Grease telescopic tongue (if equipped):
With tongue extended, grease inside tongue with 1 to
shots of grease per side and spread evenly.
2) Check grinder bearings and grinder sheave:
Check, retighten all bearing bolts and belt sheave
bushings to correct torques.
3) Tire air pressure:
Fill each tire to rated capacity on tire.
4) Check bearing and bearing lock collars:
Check, retighten bearing lock collars to correct
torques.
MONTHLY MAINTENANCE
5) Check hydraulic pressures:
Check, reset and maintain all hydraulic pressure
settings to the specified maximum, see page 53. This
will give you the best performance from the hydraulic
system.
6) Inspect steering motor coupler (if equipped):
Check and maintain correct torque on motor coupler
bolts.
7) Lubricate “Bandit” lever throttle cable:
If the machine is equipped with a “Bandit” lever throttle
system, lubricate inner throttle cable and cable ends
with a cable lube or SAE 0W/0 oil. Replace throttle
cable if it doesn’t operate smoothly.
