To prepare a data file for export to KinAiry using BuildIT, begin by taking the points in the same order as presented in
KinAiry Guided Walkthrough mode.
From the menu, select
File
,
Export
,
Export Points
.
BuildIT will open a dialog window for you to select the points
to export. Select
All
and Sort
A-Z
. The default label and
measurement info is all that needs to be selected. Press the
green check mark to create a data file. Save the file in a location
convenient to access from KinAiry software.
APPENDIX A: HOW TO EXPOR T DATA POINTS
FR OM BUILDIT
Open the file and verify that the points are in the order they were taken. Close the file and import it using KinAiry
software,

function.
