10. Clean VSS using a clean rag.
11. Install the VSS and tighten screw
to specification.

12. Fill the gearbox through the oil lev-
el hole until the oil reaches the bot-
tom of the oil level hole.

13. Install the oil level plug with its
O-ring. Tighten to specification.

14. Wipe off any spillage.
15. Dispose gearbox oil as per your lo-
cal environmental regulations.

1. Place the vehicle on a level
surface.
2. Select PARK position.
3. Clean dipstick area.
4. Remove the gearbox oil dipstick.
5. Wipe and reinstall the dipstick.
6. Remove dipstick again and check
oil level. It should be near or equal
to the upper mark.

7. Add oil (if required):
1. Place a funnel into the dipstick
hole.
2. Add a small amount of recom-
mended oil.
3. Recheck oil level often.
4. Repeat the above procedures
until oil level reaches the dip-
stick's upper mark.
