Identify the colour causing the problem and replace the toner cartridge that 
matches the colour of the line (see

Install a new drum unit (see

White spots or hollow print

Make sure that the media type setting in the printer driver matches the type 
of paper you are using (see

Acceptable paper and other print media

 

on page 2).

Check the machine’s environment. Conditions such as high humidity can 
cause hollow print (See the Product Safety Guide).

If the problem is not solved after printing a few pages, the drum may have 
foreign material, such as glue from a label, stuck on the drum surface. Clean 
the drum unit (see

Cleaning the drum unit

 on page 163).

Install a new drum unit (see

Replacing the drum unit

 on page 133).

 

Blank page or some colours are 

missing
