Remove the upper thread.

Be sure to raise the presser foot lever before
removing the upper thread. If you remove
the upper thread with the embroidery foot
lowered, it may cause malfunction.

Set up embroidery thread for the next color,
and repeat steps

When the last color is embroidered,
"Finished sewing." will appear on the
display. Press
, and the display will
return to the initial screen.

Cut the excess thread.

refer to "Setting for embroidering" (page 52).
Appliquéing
Prepare the base fabric and the appliqué fabric
(appliqué piece). Press
(Settings key), and set
the thread color display to NAME OF COLOR, so
"APPLIQUE MATERIAL", "APPLIQUE POSITION" and
"APPLIQUE" are displayed on the screen.

Select an appliqué pattern.

"APPLIQUE MATERIAL" is displayed on the
screen.

Apply iron-on stabilizer to the back of the
appliqué piece fabric, and stretch it on the
embroidery frame.

Lower the presser foot lever, and press
(Start/stop button).

The cut-out for the appliqué piece is sewn,
and the machine stops.
