To set or change event notifications:
1.
From the
Options
menu, select
Notification
.
2.
Specify the mail server and e-mail address to send e-mail messages when events occur.
3.
In the
From User
box, specify a user address as the sender of the e-mail notifications. By default, the system
onto which the controller is installed is used.
4.
If desired, click
Send Test Message
to verify that the e-mail notification works.
5.
Choose the types of notifications you wish to use for each event priority by clicking the appropriate options
(pop-up, e-mail, event log, audible alarm).
6.
If desired, specify a new name for the log file. By default, notification events are saved to
%Program Files%\RAIDCore\noproc\bc_service.log
.
7.
To erase the contents of the log file, click
Clear Log
.
Note:
If for any reason you want to disable messaging, clear the
Enable Messaging
option in the
Notification Events
area.
