3.2.4. CU Group Number
The CU Group Number, set through Dipswitches 16 and 17 on the CAG40D-MIN
backplane, is used for BroadAccess systems in which the CU is connected to the
local exchange through 2W connections in Automatic Connection Mode (if using
V5.x to connect the CU to the local exchange, use the management software
provided with your system to perform line provisioning accordingly).
Note:
The CU Group Number is not applicable for Manual Connection
Mode.
Table 6 details the dipswitch settings for each of the possible CU Group Number
options.
