12.3 Crankcase

Removal of crankcase left cover

Loosen  the  starter  motor  fixing  bolts  and  remove  the
starter motor.
Loosen  the  left  cover  fixing  bolts  and  remove  the  left
cover.

Use  electric  or  pneumatic  tools to  loosen  the  flywheel
lock nut.
Pull  out  the  flywheel  assembly  (including  star  wheel),
remove the starter motor idler gear.
Remove the gasket.

Removal of crankcase right cover

Loosen the fixing bolts and remove the crankcase
right cover, gaskets, and locating pin.
