Safety instructions
The lawn mower operator or user is responsible for
accidents involving other persons and their property.
Attention!
Use the extension cable only in a technically
faultless condition!

disabled!

Electrical safety
Caution - danger due to electrical current!
Danger due to contact with live parts! Immediately
remove the plug from the mains if the
connecting
cable has been damaged or cut!
We recommend connection using an earth leakage
circuit breaker (FI) with a nominal fault current of
<30 mA.
The in-house mains voltage must match the mains
voltage specifications with regard to the technical
data; do not use a different supply voltage
Only use extension cables intended for outdoor use
- minimum cross-section of 1.5 mm

Damaged or brittle extension cables may not be used
Before every start-up, check the state of the
extension cable
Always use the special cable tension relief for the
extension cable
Keep the cable out of the cutting area and always
conduct it away from the machine
Never run over the extension cable with the
lawn mower
Protect the unit from moisture
Children and persons who are not familiar with these
operating instructions are not permitted to use the
mower
Observe the local regulations governing the
minimum age of the operator
Do not operate the unit when under the influence of
alcohol, drugs or medication
Prior to each use, check the unit for damage and
have damaged parts replaced
Check the terrain to be mowed completely and
carefully and remove all foreign bodies
Wear suitable work clothing:
Long trousers
Firm and antislip footwear
Observe firm footing during work
Keep other persons away from the danger area
Keep body, body parts and clothing away from the
cutter area
Only work when there is adequate daylight or proper
artificial lighting
Always disconnect the plug from the mains or wait
for the unit to come to a standstill:
After faults or unusual vibrations occur in the unit
Before loosening blockages
Before eliminating stoppages
After contact with foreign bodies
Look for damage to the mower and perform the
required repairs before restarting and working
with the mower.
Play special attention when turning the mower or
pulling it towards you
Do not mow over obstacles (e.g. branches, roots
of trees)
Only remove cuttings when the motor is at a standstill
Switch the motor off when an area other than the
area to be mowed is crossed
Never lift or carry the unit while the motor is running
Never leave the unit unattended when it is ready
for operation

The mower must only be operated after it has
been fully assembled!
