By default, the recorder is set to automatically obtain the IP address from the DHCP
server. It should be sufficient in most network environments, and most likely the user
should not need to alter anything in this page. To locate the recorder, use the IP
Utility with steps described in page 12.
To assign a static IP address to the NR-04A:
1. Choose “Static IP” from the “Connection Type” drop-down menu
2. Enter the IP address, subnet mask, default gateway address and DNS
server address for the recorder.
3. Enable the DHCP Server by selecting “On” from under “DHCP Server” to
use the recorder as a DHCP server. Leave it disabled if there is already a
DHCP server in the network.
4. Click Apply to save the new settings.
If the user changes the NVR-04A’s IP Address, the recorder needs to be
restarted. Follow the path: System Options >> Maintenance to restart the NR-
04A.
