Vehicle (Floor Level) Loading
and Unloading:
The platform
must be fully raised (at floor level)
and the inboard locator must be
properly positioned when loading
or unloading passengers in or out
of the vehicle.
It is the responsibility of the lift op-
erator to ensure the platform and
the inboard locator are properly
positioned at floor level when load
-
ing and unloading passengers.
Threshold Warning (Interlock):
An audible threshold warning will
activate if the platform threshold
area is occupied when the plat-
form is one inch or more below
floor level. The threshold sensing
area must be 18" minimum from
the edge of the finished floor and
be as wide as the platform.
If the outer barrier, inboard locator,
or any other lift component does
not operate as outlined in this
manual, discontinue lift use imme-
diately and contact a BraunAbility
