Adjust Temperature with Water Running
CAUTION This valve is not factory preset. Upon installation, the temperature of this valve must be
checked and adjusted to ensure delivery of a safe water temperature.

Faucet Temperature Adjustment
HOT
Do not turn past the stops as this may
damage the unit.
Loosen cap screw.
Using the cover, adjust
outlet temperature.

Thread the hot and cold supplies to 1/2" NPT
female threads.

Install unions or union-function equivalent
fittings (hoses with swivel connectors) in the
inlet lines to facilitate valve removal.

SLOWLY pressurize the thermostatic mixing
valve and check for pipe leaks.

Push the cover down and tighten the cap
screw.

Using the cover, gently turn the cartridge to
obtain the desired water temperature.

Loosen the cap screw approximately 1/4"
(4–6 turns counterclockwise) and lift up the
cover. DO NOT REMOVE THE COVER.
WARNING Water in excess of 110°F (43°C) may
cause scalding. Verify the water
temperature does not exceed this
temperature.
