Elevate Base Station
The Base Station will be connected to and controlled by the CM900 .
When ezRoom is installed and powered up, you can press the Mic Registration button on the Base Station to pair a mic with
the ezRoom . See the section on Mic Registration .

Mic Registration Button – Press once to put the Base Station into Registration mode . The ClassLight will glow Cyan
(Blue) indicating that a Mic can be registered (paired) with the Base Station . Using a Mic that is NOT already connected
to a Base Station press and hold the Mute button for 2 seconds until you hear the double-beep, then release . This will
register the mic with the Base Station .
ClassLight port – Connected to the ezRoom ClassLight via the purple Cat5e cable .
RS-232 port – Used to communicate with the CM900
Remote Registration – May be used to trigger registration mode from an external device
Mic Audio Line Out – Combined teacher and student mic audio output
DC power input
Status LEDs – these are primarily for troubleshooting when working with FrontRow technical support
a . System – System communication to the DECT Host
b . Uplink – communication between the CM900 and Base Station
c . Host – DECT Communication to the System
d . PrivaSee Beacon - Shows green when a ClassLight or PrivaSee Beacon is present
e . Microphone Link – Blinks when active mics are connected
