If there are multiple classrooms with glass walls facing each other, the PrivaSee signals may start to interfere and microphones
may mute unexpectedly . In this case you should turn the PrivaSee feature off . See the Microphone section for information on
how to do this .
•
Mode
– Turns the feature on and off .
NOTE:
If turning this off, it must also be turned off on the microphone!
•
Room Size
– Adjust the range of the connection to suit the classroom size . Small will cover most typical classrooms . Large
might cover a multi-purpose room or library .
•
Channel
– Channel A = 38Khz, Channel B = 56kHz
•
Rate
– Adjusts the frequency of the IR signal to avoid cross-talk and interference with other classroom devices . (1x, 2x, or 3x
per second)
It is best to leave the PrivaSee settings at their defaults . Only change them if you are experiencing interference with other IR
devices in the room (change the Channel first), or you have a larger room that needs additional coverage .
See the Microphone section on PrivaSEE for more information .
