Assembly, installation and commissioning
9.2
Check and connect the pneumatic supply
The WS502 training system is shipped completely assembled and factory tested.
However, defects or damage to the WS502 training system could possibly be
caused during transport.
For that reason, before commissioning the pneumatic system always check
•
the hosing for damage;
•
for the proper fit of the hose couplings;
•
to see if any components are damaged;
•
if all the parts are properly connected;
Connect the maintenance unit to the compressed air supply. For proper
operation a pressure of at least 6 bar is required.
9.3
Check and connect the electrical installation
The requirements for installing the WS502 training system are
•
the WS502 training system is correctly assembled (see chapter 9.1 Assembling
the WS502 training system) and is complete,
•
the mains voltage and fusing to the customer power supply is correct,
•
only trained electricians perform the work on the electrical equipment of the
training system,
•
no cables are damaged,
•
the connection cable is routed so that it cannot be crushed, overrun, bent,
clamped or concealed.
Check for correct and sufficient electrical protection.
Connect the power plug to the customer’s supply voltage socket-outlet (230V
AC). Operate the training system WS502 only on an electrical grid with an
operational residual current operated circuit breaker (RCCB) or protective
grounding.
The electrical supply of the WS502 training system is established.
