The SafeLogic Designer software with at least version V1.4.0 is
required for configuration and commissioning.

The SafeLogic compact system does not have to be reconfigured
after a module has been replaced as the configuration is saved on
the SafeLogic flash drive.
12 Device description
The SafeLogic compact Sercos Gateway SLC-3-GS3S00300 allows to transfer
safety-relevant data between the safe compact small control SafeLogic compact
(SLc) and the CIP Safety on Sercos devices. The SafeLogic compact Sercos
Gateway supports Sercos in the third generation.
