6.5 General settings
Main menu: General settings

6.5.1 Display formats
Menu: General settings > Display format
Use this menu if you want to customize the
display formats to suit your personal
preferences.
•
Time
: Select format for the time display
between
12h am/pm
or
24h
.
•
Date
: Selects either
DD.MM.YYYY
or
MM/DD/YYYY
as date display format
(D = number for day, M = number for month,
Y = number for year).
•
Temperature unit
: Select unit for the
displayed temperatures, areas, and quantities
of energy:
–
°F
: temperatures in °F, areas in sq.ft.,
energy quantities in BTU or MBTU
–
°C
: temperatures in °C, areas in m
2
,
energy quantities in Wh or kWh
•
Display contrast
: Set display contrast to
between
25%
and
75%
.
•
Information at top of display
: Set the desired
information to be shown on the top line of the
basic display.
6.5.2 Button lock
Menu: General settings > Key lock
Use this menu if you want to prevent
unauthorized use of the button functions, e.g. by
children.
If a locked button is pressed when the
Key lock
is active and the screen is showing the basic
display, an appropriate message appears.

Menu: General settings > Language
Use this menu if you want a different language for
the display texts.
If the mode selector is set to a
different mode, it does not become
active until the
Key lock
is
cancelled.
