The "boost" microwave output setting is not de-
signed for heating liquids. To protect the appliance, the
maximum power of the microwave is gradually reduced
from 1000 watts to 600 watts after the first few
minutes. Full output is made available again after a
cooling period.

To heat food evenly and avoid damaging your appli-
ance, it is important to use the right cookware and ac-
