Risk of fatal injury: Battery converter
DANGER
Risk of fatal injury due to residual voltages
The string inverter capacitors and battery converter
capacitors may still be charged even after the device
is switched off.
Open all external and internal disconnectors and
secure them against being switched back on
After switching off the device, always wait for a
period of 13 minutes before touching any
components
Use a suitable measuring instrument to check that
the device is de-energised, in accordance with
applicable guidelines
DANGER
Risk of fatal injury from arcing and short-circuit
currents
Very high DC voltages (no zero point) may exist in
photovoltaic systems employing the product, which
could cause arcing in the event of faults or if
components such as fuses or plugs are not used in
the specified manner.
The short-circuit current of the solar generator is only
slightly higher than the maximum operating current
and is always dependant on current irradiation levels.
This means that, where short circuits occur, there is
no definite guarantee that circuit breakers will be
tripped.
Insert the external DC disconnection device
Always use components in accordance with the
instructions in their respective manual
