Structure and meaning
Warning notices warn of dangers to the user or people
in the vicinity. Warning notices also indicate the con-
sequences of the hazard as well as preventive action.
Warning notices have the following structure:

Consequences of hazard in the event of fail-
ure to observe action and information given.

The key word indicates the likelihood of occurrence and
the severity of the hazard in the event of non-obser-

2. User instructions
2.1 Important Information
Important information on use of the components can
be found in the separate ESI[tronic] repair manual
"Unit injectors for passenger cars (UI-P)" in the sections
"Safety instructions", "Maintenance instructions" and
"Lubricants and consumables". These must be carefully
studied prior to commissioning, connection and opera-
tion and must always be heeded.
2.2 Safety Instructions
Safety instructions can be found in the separate ES-
I[tronic] repair manual "Unit injectors for passenger
cars(UI-P)" in the section "Safety instructions". These
must be carefully studied prior to commissioning, con-
nection and operation and must always be heeded.
2.3 Intended use
The devices and components in repair kit
0 986 610 825 are intended solely for repair of "Unit
injectors for passenger cars" belonging to generations
UI-P 1.x and UI-P 2
(called UI-P in the following).

2.4 Prerequisites
The user already has the necessary tools (e.g. mounting
device 0 986 613 400), ESI[tronic] information type "K",
diesel test bench EPS 815 with CAM 847 and experi-
ence in testing and repair of UI-P (see section 2.5).
2.5 Training
Testing and repairs of UI-P may be performed only by
qualified and trained personnel. We recommend user
training in testing and repair at the the AA training center.
