Anchor points must be adequately strong
(observe 12 kN according to EN 795 and/or
DGUV Regulation 112-198)! The anchor point
must lie above where the person is standing.

The deflection at the edge must be at least
90°.
K
Ensure adequate space of at least 4.0 m be-
low the edge.
L
To prevent swinging after a fall, the work are-
as or side movements from the middle axles
on both sides must be limited to max. 1.50 m.
In other cases, no individual attachment
points should be used, instead e.g. attach-
ment devices of the type C (only if approved
for joint use) or D according to EN 795 should
be used.
ATTENTION:
When falling over an edge there is a risk of inju-
ry during the fall by banging into the building
or parts of the construction.
In the event of a fall over an edge, special meas-
ures need to be defined and practised.
