5) Transmission Lever
Quest MAX Series
Located on the right side of vehicle. A
5-position lever: P, R, N, H and L.
To change the transmission position,
completely stop vehicle then move le-
ver to the right then to the desired po-
sition while moving lever forward. Do
not force lever. If unable to shift, rock
the vehicle back and forth to move ATV
and try again.

CAUTION: Always completely stop
the vehicle and apply the brake prior
to moving the transmission lever.
Traxter MAX Series
Located on the left side of steering col-
umn. A 5-position lever: P, R, N, H and L.
To change the transmission position,
completely stop vehicle then move le-
ver to the desired position while pull-
ing lever upward. Do not force lever. If
unable to shift, rock the vehicle back
and forth to move the vehicle and try
again.

Quest MAX and Traxter MAX Series
P: Park
This position locks the transmission to
help prevent vehicle movement. Al-
ways use when the vehicle is not in
operation. In some circumstances, it
may be necessary to rock the vehicle
back and forth to move the gears in the
transmission to allow the park to be
engaged.
