Connecting the com-
pressor to the com-
pressed air network
Connect the compressed air outlet on the compressor to the compressed air
network or a compressed air receiver. Use a BOGE high-pressure hose for
this.
1Establishing the elec-
trical connection
Mains disconnecting device
Every compressor unit must be fitted with a mains disconnecting device in ac-
cordance with EN 60204-1. The main switch installed as standard complies
with this requirement.
Rated voltage
The data of your mains (operating voltage, control voltage, current type, fre-
quency, etc.) must be identical to the data on the rating plate on the switch
cabinet. In the event of deviations, please contact BOGE service or your sup-
plier.
Refer to the "Technical data" section regarding the design of the fuse protec-
tion.
NOTE
Do not install a non-return valve in the pressure line.
The compressor is already equipped with a non-return valve.
DANGER
Danger of death due to electric current!
Coming into contact with live parts, defective insulation or components can
be fatal.
Ensure that all work on the electrical equipment of the compressor is only
carried out by skilled electricians.
When connecting to the mains, observe the national and international regu-
lations in force (e.g. VDE regulations, DIN / EN standards) and the local safety
regulations.
Also observe the regulations of your local electricity utility company regard-
ing the loading capacity of the mains.
Prior to all work:
1. Disconnect all power infeeds using the mains disconnecting device.
2. Take precautions to prevent them being switched back on again.
3. Check that all system components are de-energised.
4. Earth and short circuit.
5. Cover or enclose adjoining live parts.
