Basic Operation

·

Power  up:  Since  this  is  a  self-generating  product,  user  must  pedal  the  product  to  power  up  the
console.

·

Pause a program: If a program is running and there is no RPM for  a few seconds, the console will
pause and stop accumulating data. The pause time is 3 minutes.  After that, the console will reset
back to home screen/idle mode. Within pause mode, pedal again to resume the program.

·

Power  save  function:  This  console  is  equipped  with power  save  function.  If  there  is  no  RPM,  the
console screen will be off and enter power save mode.

·

Start a program: There are three ways to start a workout from home screen –

o

Touch the “Just  Go” button on screen or “Go” key to start Quick Start program.

o

Or touch “User”, then “Program” button to start a preset program using user profile. This is
the only way to get into your favorite programs. The program will start immediately using
pre-stored user profile. This is the recommended method to start a program.

o

Lastly, touch “Program” button to select a program.  The console will treat this as a guest
user which means the user setting will be prompted before the program  starts. Follow on
screen instruction to set up the personal data. When finished entering data, press the “Go”
key to begin the workout. (You may press “Go” key anytime during setup to bypass and start
the workout immediately.)

Note, since this is a guest user workout, there is no user profile

setup, therefore the workout summary will not be stored into the user profile.

·

Default values: Initially the console is coded with a set of defaults for express quick start. If you didn’t
adjust these values before the program started, they will be used for data calculations, such as
calories. It is recommended you set up a user profile and adjust these values with your own personal
data to get the most accurate workout feedbacks. The factory defaults are:

o

Age – 35

o

Weight – 150lbs or 70kg

o

Program time – 30 minutes  (min program time allowed is 5 minute & max program time
allowed is 90 minutes)

o

Target HR & Work HR – 70% max HR

(Max HR is calculated as 220-age)

o

Resistance level: 30 levels available

·

End  a  program  and  review  summary:  When  program  time  is  reached  or  “Cool  Down”  button  is
pressed, it will end the program and enter Cool Down & Summary Review mode. There are 3 minutes
for cool down & review the workout summary. During Cool Down, you may adjust resistance level
Up to level 10. If “Save as Favorite” button appears on screen, you may press this button to save the
current workout program as a favorite program of yours. Follow on screen instruction for operation.
