5.3. Electricity

- Bring the fl exible power cable to face the port fi tted in the appliance. Make sure there is enough length 
for the connection and for any subsequent simple maintenance.

All installation and maintenance operations on the fan and the variator must be 

done with the power supply disconnected.

- Clear the way for connection to the chimney and, if necessary, the 
hot air pipes.

- Remove any hoods and dampers.

- Insulate the outside walls.

- In the case of new building work, it is PROHIBITED to rest the 
building work on top of the fi replace.

5.4. Putting the fi replace in place

1. Dismantle the removable parts.

2. Introduce and position the fi replace in the alcove.

- Clear the holes used for the convection circuit.

- Determine the height (telescopic feet (except OPTI760 DF). CAUTION! Comply with the MINIMUM SECTION 
FOR CONVECTION AIR INDUCTION, i.e. 

400cm² free passage,

 so take into account the passage coeffi

  cient 

of grills and fi lter if there are any.

- Plan suffi

    cient space for the fan if necessary. 

The fan can be mounted from inside the fi replace or from 

under the fi replace.

- Heat insulate the outside adjoining wall and infl ammable materials.

- Put the appliance in place, upright and level (left/right and front/back).
