IMPORTANT: Adjustment (calibration) of the speed variator:
Once installation of the fan and the diff erent components has been fully completed:
- Turn on power.
- Put the fan on minimum = knob turned fully in a clockwise direction.
- Pull the knob (1) out.
- Using a screwdriver, turn the adjustment screw (2) until the fan is operating silently; this determines the
minimum output that you want on your fan.
CAUTION: Always check carefully that the fan is always turning at least a little bit, even at reduced
speed.
Try several on/off s of the fan down to minimum to ensure that everything is operating smoothly.
If the fan has stopped in minimum position, the fan motor will be damaged!
1. Speed adjustment knob.
2. Minimum speed adjustment screw under the
knob (calibration required).
3. 1.25A fuse (Remove the knob, unscrew the
plate, pull out and replace).
For the power cable and position of the variator,
simply measure the space required by the variator,
cut the cable as required (unplugged!) and connect
the variator to it as indicated in the diagram supplied
with the variator.
