4.3 Configuring Primary/Secondary Drive Addresses
The primary and secondary addressing jumpers are located on the
upper portion of jumper block J6 and are used for the hard drive
interface (HDD). Primary addresses are set as shown on the next
page:
Setting Jumpers
These jumpers would be
configured as above if the
IDE200 were the first or only
hard and floppy drive
controller in the system.
Below are other common
configurations:
Board is used for secondary
hard and primary floppy
support in the system.
Secondary hard drive, but NO
additional floppy support is
needed. FDD is disabled. FDD
DIS on J8 must be jumpered.
