Automatic shutdown
The sockets will be automat-
ically switched off during the
start procedure.
The power supply to the
sockets is switched off a
certain time after the ignition
is switched off, in order to
prevent overloading of the
on-board electrics. Low-
wattage electrical accessories
might not be recognised by
the vehicle’s electronics. In
such cases, power sockets are
switched off very shortly after
the ignition is turned off.

If the battery charge state is
too low to maintain the mo-
torcycle's start capability, the
power sockets are switched
off.
The power sockets are also
switched off when the max-
imum load capability as stated
in the technical data is ex-
ceeded.

If necessary, unlock the cent-
ral locking system.
Turn the key in the topcase
lock to the dot position and
remove the key from the lock.
Press lock barrel

down.
Release lever

pops up.
Pull release lever
2
all the way
up and open the lid of the
topcase.
