Installing spring-strut cover
Make sure the ground is level
and firm and place the motor-
cycle on its stand.
Engage spring-strut cover 1 in
grommets 2 .

ATTENTION
Use of the BMW Motorrad
front-wheel stand without
accompanying use of centre
stand or auxiliary stand
Risk of damage to parts if
vehicle topples
Place the motorcycle on
its centre stand or another
auxiliary stand before lift-
ing the front wheel with the
BMW Motorrad front-wheel
stand.
Make sure the motorcycle is
standing firmly.
Make sure the ground is level
and firm and place the motor-
cycle on its centre stand.
