Using this configuration, the user should keep the digital handset ON, even when making calls
from the analog phone, to make sure the Modem Unit will be working properly.
Option 2
This second scheme presents an option that requires two wire harnesses for the system: one,
used for set-up or maintenance only (C1000A-C2), and another for analog interface user operation
(C1000A-C3). It’s important to observe that once the maintenance cable has been used, the C1000A
Modem Unit (not the digital handset) MUST be powered off before connecting the analog phone cable
again (or vice-versa), for safety precautions.
Obs.1
: In this type of configuration, the PIN Number option should be disabled through the digital
handset prior to connecting and using the POTS phone (disregard this if PIN is already disabled).
