C-1000A Iridium™ Satellite Phone System

1- Power up the phone.
2- When it asks for PIN Number, press 1111.
3- Once it says Iridium on the screen, press Menu.
4- Use the menu key or the up and down arrows to scroll to the fourth option (Phone Set Up).
5- Press Okay.
6- Use the Menu key or the up and down arrows to scroll to the fourth option (Require SIM Card
PIN).
7- Scroll to OFF the Press OK.
8- It will ask for PIN code again, press 1111. It should read COMPLETED.
Obs.2
: Remember that the Modem Unit takes about 1 minute to initialize and register on the
Iridium network.
CABLE SHEMATICS
The 3 schematics presented below show the wiring for the C1000A-C1 cable and its
variants. For the C1000A-C2 and C1000A-C3, just do not install the RJ11 or RJ45
plug, respectively. For more details on C1000A pinouts and interfaces, please
consult the Wiring Diagrams (page 21) on this installation guide.
