MAC Address - Remote Control:
indicates the MAC Address of the “100/1000 Control” Port.
MAC Address - Data:
indicates the MAC Address of the Data Port.
Software Version:
indicates the software version of the unit.
FPGA Version:
indicates the current hardware version of the unit’s FPGA chipset.
QAM Version:
indicates the current software version of the unit’s QAM output module.
Hardware Version:
indicates the current hardware version of the unit.
Serial Number:
indicates the unit’s serial number.
Administrator
Login:
is the Administrator’s login (10 characters max.). This login allows the user to make changes to any
area of the unit. Login is case sensitive. (Factory Default: Admin)
Current Password:
is the Administrator’s Current Password (10 characters max.). Password is case sensitive and will not be
displayed. (Factory Default: pass)
New Password:
used only if the user wants to change the current Administrator’s password. User must enter a new
password (10 characters max.). Password is case sensitive and will not be displayed.
Confirm New Password:
user must enter the same password as entered above. If password does not match, an error will
be displayed.
Guest Login:
is the Guest login (10 characters max.). This login allows the user to view the unit settings but does not allow
any changes. Login is case sensitive. (Factory Default: Guest)
Current Guest Password:
is the Current Guest Password (10 characters maximum). Password is case sensitive and will not
be displayed. (Factory Default: pass)
New Guest Password:
used only if the user wants to change the current Guest password. User must enter a new password
(10 characters max.). Password is case sensitive and will not be displayed.
Confirm Guest Password:
user must enter the same password as entered above. If password does not match, an error will
be displayed.
Save Configuration Settings:
allows the user to download and save the existing configuration of the unit in a .dat file format.
Not recommended for basic users. Please consult the factory regarding this function.
Default Unit Settings:
Returns the unit to the original settings as shipped from the factory.
Load Settings from File:
Not recommended for basic users. Please consult the factory regarding this function.
Choose File:
allows the user to select the desired Config file from any location on the computer to be uploaded to the
unit.
Load & Apply Configuration Settings:
allows the user to upload a newly created file or update an existing file.
Software/Firmware Update:
To update, click “Choose File” to select the firmware update file to be applied by “Update
Firmware/Software”. Typically there will be only one file to update. At this point the unit is updated and you can verify the
“Software Version” from this same page to confirm a successful update. Update can also be verified on the Event Log page.
Restore Previous Firmware Version:
returns the encoder to the last installed firmware version before the current update.
