7.1 “US Channel” and “DS Channel” Panels (continued)
NOTE: Further settings can be edited in both the “Upstream Channel” and “Downstream Channel” configuration
panels by clicking on the channel numbers in the first column.
This will bring up a window with settings for that channel. Additionally, a channel can be turned off by selecting the
channel number box again and clicking the “Close Channel” button.
To turn ON the Downstream Channels (Figure 7.2), do the following:
Find “RF Information” under the left navigation pane, expanding the category if needed. Click on the sub-category “
DS
Channel
” to open in the right pane.
In the right panel, the user can enable each channel by selecting the box by each channel number and clicking the “Open
DOCSIS Channel” button above the channel list.
NOTE:
The Downstream Channels need to change the following:
• Change from Annex A to Annex B
• Set Interleave to 128, 1
•
Set Modulation to QAM 256
The user can make these changes within the channel settings via the following directions.
