Section 7 - Configuring The CMTS
When within the control panel, the user may begin configuring the CMTS by setting up the following sections:
7.1 “US Channel” Panel
DHCP Address Pool Configuration
Address Pool: set the IP address of the starting IP for the range you want to offer (ex: 192.168.200.0 will give out IP
addresses 192.168.200.1 - 192.168.200.254)
Subnet Mask:
sets the Subnet range. 255.255.255.0 is Class C and will provide 254 IP addresses.
Default Route:
Default Gateway IP Address.

Device Configuration
Server Host MAC: non-editable field showing the MAC address of the GigE port of the CMTS.
Server Host IP:
IP address of the GigE port of the CMTS
TFTP Server Address:
IP Address of the TFTP server within the CMTS. Typically matches Server Host IP address.
