Display alternatives by normal operation
In the weight display it is possible to view weight information from one or more scales.
It is also possible to select which scales that shall be displayed on the color touch
display. With parameter ‘Display modes’ it is possible to select what combinations of
the three weight display modes that can be selected by the operator. The display
modes are single scale display, two scales display and four scales display.
Dedicated keys on the front panel are used to zero and tare the scale, to toggle
between gross and net weight display and to print weighing results for the selected
scale.
Keys on the front panel like ‘ZERO’, ‘TARE’, GROSS/NET’, ‘PRINT’ etc. and soft keys
(F1 - F5) are mostly dedicated to the selected scale. In general, when the expression
‘selected scale’ is used in this manual, it means the scale shown on a single scale
weight display or the scale marked with a yellow background on a two or four scale
operating display.
Note that information displayed varies between the weight display modes and that the
information displayed may be different depending on actual settings.
If a name has been entered in parameter ‘X:Scale Name’ it will be shown instead of the
text ‘Scale: X’ in the weight display. In the example screens below the parameter
‘1:Scale Name’ is set to “Baking powder”. Note that the character size may vary
depending on the length of the scale name entered. A scale name may be truncated if
it doesn’t fit in the available space.
If a program option is enabled in demo mode there will be an indication (*DEMO*) in
the upper left corner of the weight displays as shown in the one scale screen below.
