Selecting the waveband /
memory bank
This unit can receive programmes
broadcast over the FM frequency range
as well as the MW, LW and SW (short-
wave) ranges. There are four memory
banks for the FM range and one for each
of the MW, LW and SW ranges.
In dynamic radio mode there are up to
five memory banks at your disposal.
Six stations can be stored in each mem-
ory bank.
Selecting the waveband
To select the FM, MW, LW or SW (short-
wave) waveband,

Selecting the FM memory bank
To switch between the FM memory
banks FM1, FM2, FM3 and FMT or be-
tween DL1 - DL5,

bank appears in the display.
The memory banks are accessed in the
following order: FM1, FM2, FM3 and
FMT.
Tuning into a station
There are various ways of tuning into a
station in static radio mode.
Automatic seek tuning

The unit tunes into the next receivable
station.
Browsing through broadcasting
networks (only FM)
Most RDS stations provide several pro-
grammes. The information on these
“broadcasting networks” is transmitted
with the RDS signal. You can “browse”
through these broadcasting networks
and therefore switch programme sim-
ply and conveniently.
