Record a Video with a Neural Recording
A video file can be recorded in sync with neural data recorded using Central Software Suite. Before starting to
record with NeutoMotive®, Central must be running on a Host PC, connected to an NSP or CerePlex™ Direct and
the File application should be open and setup properly, ready to record.
Start NeuroMotive™ and make sure the video camera is connected properly and selected.
On the Host PC, open the File application in Central (Refer to the Cerebus™ manual).
Make sure File Specification is 2.3 or higher and the File application is synchronized with NeuroMotive™ (in
the File application go to
View->Options->Sync with NeuroMotive™ (if present)
, for further details refer to
the Cerebus™ manual).
A NeuroMotive™ indicator should appear on File application dialog.

In order to use NPlayServer, be sure to record continuous data.
Start neural recording through the File application.
Video recording will start automatically on the NeuroMotive™ PC. Note that NeuroMotive™ will duplicate
the filename specified in the File application. Additionally, if the filename chosen is already being used by
another video file in the recording directory then NeuroMotive™ will automatically append an incrementing
counter to the filename to create a unique filename.
During recording of files, NeuroMotive™ will continue recording when Central is paused.
