Video Tracker
This currently contains all the options available in NeuroMotive™ for setting what to track and record. The
options are as follows:
Tracker Dropdown -
Determines what to track, currently it can be set to track markers or nothing,
thereby disabling tracking.
Record Object Position -
Enables/disables the recording of an object’s position based on the
tracking markers in an associated .nev file. If tracking a single marker then it will record that
marker’s position as the object’s position. If tracking three markers, preferably with them placed in
the shape of an isosceles triangle with the head as the top point, then NeuroMotive™ will track the
markers that fit this shape and record the midpoint of the base of the triangle as the object’s position.
Record Object Markers -
Enables/disables the recording of an object’s tracking markers in an
associated .nev file. If the tracked object is found by NeuroMotive™, the position of the markers in
each frame can be recorded. This works best with three markers as their positions relative to one
another are used by NeuroMotive™ to help keep track of them and the object. If only one marker is
being tracked then this option behaves like the previous one.
Record Markers Area Sizes -
Enables/disables the recording of the sizes of the areas of the
markers being tracked, as perceived by NeuroMotive™, in an associated .nev file. This may be
useful for diagnostic purposes to see how well NeuroMotive™ is tracking the object or to
troubleshoot any data inconsistencies.
Record All Markers -
All items in the camera’s view that could be identified as markers have their
position recorded with this enabled. If the object is found by NeuroMotive™ then its markers’
positions will be listed first. This option will supersede
Record Object Markers
.
