10.3.3.C How to Make Your Session Persistent and Scrollable (Using History Mode)
To make your session “persistent” (so that events are kept in memory even after they scroll off the screen) and
“scrollable” (so that you can pull these retained off-screen events back onto the screen), press Alt-H after you
open your session to start “history mode.” From that point on, the Card will retain the current session in
memory even after events scroll beyond the top of the display, so that you can scroll backwards through the
session at any time to check on what occurred earlier. While history mode is active, you can press an additional
set of keys in order to scroll through the session log:
CTRL-B to page up
CTRL-F to page down
K
or
– to move up one line
J
or
+ to move down one line
1
then
G to move to the home position (first line)
G to move to the end position (last line)
If during your session you want to get out of history mode, press Esc (escape) to end it. It is deactivated
automatically when you close your session.
10.3.3.D How to Close a Session
To close a session, make it the currently active session by pressing Alt-Tab until it is displayed on your monitor.
Then press Alt-C. The session will close and the Options Screen will be displayed until you select another
channel as active.
