3.2 Navigation and Editing in PocketMail Composer Screens
The keystroke sequences for moving to and selecting Composer functions are
simple: use the arrow buttons
to move an item, then press
to select it. Other keys to help you navigate are:
These accelerator keys take you to the top and bottom of the
current screen or, in Scheduler for example, the keys enable you
to flip through a sequence of screens.
Not all screens have menus. If there is one, the word “Menu” is
displayed at the top right of the screen. Press the Menu key to
display the list of options, then use the arrow buttons to move to
your choice. Press Enter to select.
Takes you back to the previous screen without saving any
changes you have made in the current screen. Pressing this key
two or three times takes you back to the Main screen.
Takes you directly to the Main screen from any other screen.
E
DITING
When you create a new item of any sort, the Composer provides you with a blank
form in edit mode. Once you save the item, you must re-open it in edit mode
before you can make changes to it. To do this, first view the item, then press Enter.
The standard QWERTY keys function as you would expect. Other keys providing
special functions are:
Press this key to activate the characters that are printed in a
different color above the regular keys on the keypad.
Caps Lock: Press 2nd and then the Shift key to have all
subsequent letters you type appear in upper-case format. Press
2nd and then the Shift key to cancel the Caps Lock.
Press this key to save original data or changes you entered.
